The Muncie Public Library Needs You!

September 27, 2007

The Muncie Public Library is looking for a few good volunteers to assist with our Homebound program. This program helps provide customers of all ages who are unable to travel freely to the Library with a selection of Library materials and home delivery of those materials at least once a month. We currently serve about 40 customers and are looking to add support for about 30 more.

Volunteers will need to have their own transportation and will help with selecting, delivering and picking up materials one time per month. Training and assistance is provided by the Muncie Public Library.

If you are looking for a meaningful opportunity to give something back to our community, please consider volunteering with us. Call Linda Dailey at 765.747.8214 for an opportunity to help out.
