
Special Exhibit at Maring-Hunt
This exhibit, Censorship in Schools and Libraries, created by the Long Island Coalition Against Censorship, presents incidents of censorship in public libraries and schools that have occurred nationally over the last 150 year. Black and white images along with text, illustrate the books and authors that have been most challenged by schools and libraries. Authors and books include Judy Blume, Maurice Sendak and the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling.
