Let’s Talk About Conley
March 11, 2009Public Input Meeting @ Carnegie
Monday, March 16, 5:30 pm
Muncie Public Library is inviting public input and suggestions for creative uses of the Conley Library facility which is scheduled to close as a library in June, 2009. Ideas already put forth include a Learning Center with the possibility of it being called the Vivian Conley Learning Center.
The Library also wishes to use this public meeting to share details of HB 1001, which placed caps on property taxes. This will have a significant impact on Delaware County in general and Muncie Public Library in particular.
All interested citizens should attend this public meeting to review the impact of HB1001 and to explore creative uses of the Conley facility that will be of benefit to the entire community.
