Kennedy Library Grand Reopening!

Don’t miss the Grand Reopening Celebration

                        Thursday, February 14, 2008.

  •      3:00 Kennedy Opens to the Public
  •      5:30 Dedication and Ribbon Tearing

Just as gifts were given one-by-one to renovate Kennedy Library, a winding ribbon will be passed person-to-person to encompass all who attend. Come enjoy refreshments, music by Ferratt & Delaney and help us unwrap this gift to the community by tearing the ribbon that marks the Grand Reopening! Come see the expanded space, the new meeting rooms, story time rooms and coffee area. Stop by Kennedy on Valentine’s Day to see the newly renovated space and all it has to offer and see why we believe it is the heart of reading and lifelong learning!

John F. Kennedy Library is located at 1700 W. McGalliard Road.

My husband and I are excited about the reopening of the Kennedy Branch Library. We have watched the progress of the renovation as we passed by in our car on McGalliard many times during the construction. We have enjoyed getting to know more about the Maring Hunt Branch but have always used Kennedy as “our” library. We are glad to live in a community that provides such excellent facilities for use by it’s citizens. Thanks to all who contributed their time and money to make this possible.

I have missed the old Kennedy location so-o-o much! I would love to attend the grand reopening, but, unfortunately, I have to work. 😦 I will be there, soon, howver!

    Congratulations! The place looks great.
Wish I could be there for the opening.
