Kelsey Timmerman, author of Where Am I Wearing? will be a guest judge at the April 4 Edible Books Festival. Where Am I Eating? explores the globalization of the food industry. Copies of Where Am I Wearing? will be available for sale and for author signature at the Edible Books Festival. Timmerman and his wife are Muncie residents.

Book Description (from

Globalization makes it difficult to know where the things you buy come from. Journalist and travel writer Kelsey Timmerman wanted to know where his clothes came from and who made them, so he traveled from Honduras to Bangladesh to Cambodia to China and back. Along the way, he met the people who made his favorite clothes and learned as much about them as he did about globalization itself. Enlightening and controversial at once, this book puts a human face on globalization.

Entries are due at 2 p.m. at Kennedy Library. Judging is at 2:15 and the displays are open for viewing until 4 p.m. (Due to health codes the food creations cannot be served or consumed on the Library premises.)
